Accommodation
We offer a unique Gîte accommodation, that sleeps up to 6 people, exclusive with the lake to make your carp fishing as comfortable as you require. La Froterie Gîte accommodation caters for both families and anglers.
A fully equipped, 2 double bedroomed Gîte with central heating throughout, has a short walk to the lake. One bedroom has a double bed with an en-suite double shower room. The other is a double bedroom with 2 single beds and an en-suite shower room. Bed linen and towels are provided.
The living room has a sofa which turns into a double sofa bed. There is a TV and DVD player with few classic films to watch and a cosy log burner. You will also find brochures, maps and pamphlets of the local area, for those that want to venture out.
The kitchen/diner has a table and chairs to seat up to 6 people, it is well equipped with all your cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and tea towels provided. It also has a cooker, toaster, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, fridge freezer and dishwasher.
We take a £200 or €225 Cash Deposit for any damages.That will be refunded when you leave.

Your carp fishing accommodation, La Froterie, is situated in a small town called Pougne Hérrison, in the French department of Deux-Sèvres (79).
The nearest supermarket to us is in SECONDIGNY, just 5 minutes drive away, where you can buy all your food etc. Secondigny also offers a bar, pharmacy, butcher, baker, doctor, estate agent and hairdressers.
If you are looking for a bigger town with more shops, restaurants and things to see and do, PARTHENAY, BRESSUIRE and NIORT all offer this and are within a 30 minute drive from La Froterie. Please see the Travel page for a map of our location, and the nearby towns.
With the gîte and 4 swims for a week fishing, self catering is £1,250
